For the last 15 years I have been working out of my Petaluma shop. It is just close enough to San Francisco to be part of that exciting design world, but far enough away to hide out in the country, with an extravagant amount of shop space and beautiful vistas out the windows.

I did my apprenticeship/education with  master cabinetmaker Jim Krenov at College of the Redwoods, Fine Woodworking Program. Jim is known for his Swedish inspired clean lines and attension to detail. I was inspired by his use of grains and color as part of the deisgn. In my work I take these lessons and  incorporate a bit of my native California aesthetic.
